Myanmar Ambassador to the Republic of India H.E U Zaw Oo attends the exhibition ceremony of Buddhist relics titled “The Light and the Lotus: Relics of the Awakened One” organized by Ministry of Culture of India (3 January 2026, New Delhi)

Ambassador of Myanmar to the Republic of India, H.E U Zaw Oo, attended the opening ceremony of the museum exhibition titled “The Light and the Lotus: Relics of the Awakened One,” which showcases Buddhist relics and cultural heritage, organized by Ministry of Culture of India which will be held on 3 January 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Rai Pithora Cultural Complex Hall in New Delhi.

The event was graced by H.E. Mr. Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, as the Chief Guest, who delivered an opening address. Also in attendance were H.E. Mr. Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Minister of Culture of India; H.E. Mr. Shri Kiren Rijiju, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs; ambassadors from ASEAN countries based in New Delhi; as well as heads of international missions and diplomatic representatives from various foreign embassies.

It is learned that the Buddha relics from Piprahwa, along with unique ancient artifacts associated with the Buddha, ancient Buddha handicrafts, and other historical Buddhist heritage objects, had been taken overseas during the period when India was under colonial rule. After a lapse of 127 years, these relics were returned to India and are now being exhibited collectively in a single, organized display for the first time.

အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာသံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးဇော်ဦးသည် အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံ၊ ယဉ်ကျေးမှုဝန်ကြီးဌာန၏ ဖိတ်ကြားချက်အရ ၃-၁-၂၀၂၆ ရက်နေ့၊ နံနက် ၁၀၀၀နာရီအချိန်တွင် နယူးဒေလီမြို့ရှိ Rai Pithora Cultural Complex ခန်းမ၌ကျင်းပသော The Light and the Lotus: Relics of the Awakened One အမည်ဖြင့် ကျင်းပသည့် ဗုဒ္ဓဓာတ်တော်မွေတော်ယဉ်ကျေးမှုအမွေအနှစ်များ ထုတ်ဖော်ပြသသည့် ပြတိုက်ဖွင့်ပွဲ အခမ်းအနားသို့ တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။

အဆိုပါ အခမ်းအနားသို့ အဓိကဧည့်သည်တော်အဖြစ် အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံဝန်ကြီးချုပ် H.E. Mr. Shri Narendar Modi က တက်ရောက်၍ အမှာစကားပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထို့ပြင် အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံ၊ ယဉ်ကျေးမှုဝန်ကြီးဌာန ဝန်ကြီး H.E. Mr. Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, ပါလီမန်ရေးရာ ဝန်ကြီးဌာန ဝန်ကြီး H.E. Mr. Shri Kiren Rijiju ၊ နယူးဒေလီမြို့အခြေစိုက် အာဆီယံနိုင်ငံများမှ သံအမတ်ကြီးများ၊ နိုင်ငံတကာသံရုံးများမှ သံရုံးအကြီးအကဲများနှင့်သံတမန်များလည်း တက်ရောက် ခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။

အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံ၏ Piprahwa ဗုဒ္ဓ၏ဓာတ်တော်မွေတော်များ၊ တစ်မူထူးခြားသည့် ဗုဒ္ဓ၏ရှေးဟောင်း အသုံးအဆောင်ပစ္စည်းများ ၊ ရှေးခေတ်လက်မှုလက်ရာများနှင့် ရှေးဟောင်းအမွေအနှစ် ပစ္စည်း များသည် အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံ ကိုလိုနီလက်အောက်သို့ ကျရောက်ခဲ့သည့် အချိန်ကာလမှစ၍ နိုင်ငံပြင်ပသို့ ယူဆောင်သွားခြင်းခံခဲ့ရပြီးနောက် နှစ်ပေါင်း (၁၂၇)နှစ်အကြာမှသာ အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံသို့ ပြန်လည်ရောက် ရှိလာခဲ့ပြီးနောက် ယခုကဲ့သို့ တစ်စုတစ်စည်းတည်း ခင်းကျင်းပြသထားခြင်း ဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိရှိရပါ သည်။
